Why funding is needed
Removing the barriers that keep children out of school.
Most families served by Barere are already facing financial hardship, and requiring payment would prevent the children most in need from receiving support. Donor funding is what allows the program to exist at all.
The requested funding supports both immediate needs and long-term resilience. Education costs help children stay in school now; livestock and family support reduce the likelihood that children will be forced to leave school again.
